Kendall Henderson (b.1989, Colorado, USA) is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Brooklyn New York. He holds a BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design's Atlanta chapter (2012), and currently is pursuing new forms of artistic education, institutionally or otherwise.
Kendall’s work plays a role of manifesting observation and exercising never ending recontexualization of perception. Each work is an exercise studying the interrelation between various objects based on their proximity, recognizability, context and preconceived perception in the form of mixed media assemblage. It allows the question of importance while implying it within choice of the making process and the choice in which to display.
This act of collecting and assembling these unnoticed materials is an act of rebellion, as well as an invitation to reconsider perception and value.
